Ridgid has continued to upgrade (in some people opinions… depending on their personal preference) their current line up of the Gen5x which originally was introduced with all brushed models.
With the Brushless line up Ridgid now offers 50% more run time on their tools and continues to switch back and forth between Hammer drill/driver mode. This allows for a quick transition between driving, drilling or hammer modes without changing the micro-clutch setting
